Have you ever thought that you might not need a CSS framework?

Sure, CSS frameworks are incredibly useful, and no one's suggesting that CSS frameworks are on the decline or dying. If anything, they're consolidating and becoming more powerful and reliable. But my pick of the week is You might not need a CSS framework. Belén references the always important performance issues with large frameworks, but what I really appreciate is his sensitivity to design decisions. Definitely worth a read as we enter the age of the front-end developers thinking more deeply about front-end architecture (not just façades).
