Fast apps fast, non-linear transitions, and the pitfalls of preprocessor performance

It's not often that a big name like Google comes out with a new framework, especially not a MVC Js framework. Although it's MVC and not MVVM, its principles remind me heavily of Meteor.

Also interesting is DEG's post on post-processors. I spend a lot of time in Sass preprocessors, but why is there so little talk about postprocessors? I think everyone's hope is that internet and browser rendering speeds are going to continue to increase at a rate that covers up a lot of our low-performing CSS. What's responsible about that? Let's clean it up, people!
