The Node world has been getting heated lately...

If you've been keeping up with Node news you already know about Joyent creating a Node advisory board. If you haven't, that Joyent blog post is worth the read to get a sense of how big players in the area feel about the Node community and growth pattern (whether you agree with this move or not is a separate issue). People aren't just fighting over Node though, they're also thinking about how to expand it beyond some of its basic limits, such as multi-threading with Node and becoming more mobile friendly. And last but not least of Node outliers that didn't make the main resource list, the opinion that if the community ends up loving Node so much that we kill it (a terrible movie premise), Node would crumble into Javascript. Well wouldn't that be tragic...
